Composed of members from Infinityum, Mormieben, War Inside, FT-17, and Vosegus, Circles ov Hell is a Symphonic Black Death Metal band from Nantes, entirely based on the concept of The Divine Comedy. With a desire to set Dante Alighieri's work to music, their lyrics are directly adapted from an English translation of the famous Florentine poem.
The band was formed in 2018 and has one album to its name, All Hope Abandon, released in 2021, a record where epic orchestrations, theatrical staging, and frantic rhythms coexist.
The positive feedback on this album allowed them to open for Muscadeath in the 2023 edition and perform alongside bands such as Moonreich, Acod, Gorod, The Great Old Ones, Zornheym, and God Dethroned.
At the end of 2024, Circles Ov Hell will continue to take you deep into Hell with their second album: Thus Began The Descent.
